Hepatitis A Virus

HAV is an RNA virus belonging to the family Microriboviridae. It is a spherical particle with a diameter of approximately 27nm, consisting of 32 shell particles and a symmetrical 20 sided nucleocapsid, containing linear single stranded RNA. Hepatitis A virus causes hepatitis A, which is mainly transmitted to patients. After human infection with HAV, it is easy to cause common digestive tract diseases, mainly liver parenchymal cell damage.
